We have a fire safe that is bolted to the floor to keep all of our important documents like ss cards, birth certificates, passports, titles, etc.
Where do you keep yours?

Safe deposit box, fireproof safe, and in my underwear drawer.

Just in the kitchen drawer. Actually, to be honest, I have no idea where my SS card is. When do you ever even need that!

We have a firepoof/waterproof safe that's hidden in the basement.

Fire safe as well but eventually transfer to safety deposit box.

We have a portable fire safe in a closet.

We should also get a safe. I keep mine in a nice box in my underwear drawer! Haha. The thing that keeps me from investing in a safe is that everything we have (birth certificates, passports, SS cards) is replaceable. The only thing I really worry about losing is photos, and we back everything up in 3 places for those. THey live on our computer and they are backed up into 1) a hard drive, 2) online photo albums, and 3) burned to DVD.
