We need more pictures up around the house!
Where do you like to buy picture frames?
I tend to check clearance aisles at department stores, Home Gooods and use 50% off coupons at Michaels.

I used to get mine from Hobby Lobby, but I don't shop there anymore. I like Target's Threshold line, but I need to check out HomeGoods.

Thrift stores!
I hate plastic picture frames. I buy them then come to hate them almost immediately.
I like metal and wood frames best and those are cheapest at thrift shops....but I also like the old cozy home style so if you're looking for something more modern, that wouldn't help you.
Does cb2 have frames? Hobby lobby has a ton but I know many people are avoiding shopping there.

My favorite place for large frames is Goodwill. They always have a decent selection and with spray paint, I don't pay too much attention to color.

@looch: oh, great idea! I wish I can shop online for goodwill and salvation army. Lol

@locavore_mama: I know, right? It's pretty much the only place I physically visit. I can't handle stores any more.

@looch: I've been looking for "vintage" frames online I can spray paint to match LO 2's nursery. Maybe I should check CL too!

@locavore_mama: Yep, I would! I also look at the mirror section, because sometimes, there are nice frames to be found there as well.

@looch: @Mrs. Sketchbook: Thrift stores are my favorites for picture frames too! I have found some seriously awesome ones.
Downside that not all frames in your house 'match', but I don't keep enough around for that to really matter.

@locavore_mama: I did this for LO's room (and for a few pieces in our house) and thrift shops are the way to go! There are always a ton of frames, many of which are more ornate and look great spray painted!

@bpcmarj: ditto to that! I have a million frames in my house and every *single* one came from the Christmas Tree Store, not even kidding
Check out Craigslist or yard sales for fancier ones, @locavore_mama: ! Don't even necessarily search for "vintage", but just look for "art" or "painting" or "frame" ..I have seen quite a few pretty frames wrapped around an ugly painting on CL!

Smaller frames I get from Target, Tjmaxx, Marshalls, Home Goods... Whenever I go to these places I just look out for clearance items! For wall frames I go to Ikea.

Target! I manage to score cute ones there on clearance all the time.
I bought a bunch of plain, cheapie ones at Asda when we lived in the UK.
