I have a semiformal charity gala to attend in 2 weeks, and I have nothing to wear!! Where do you guys go to find cocktail dresses (for under $150)?
I know the regular places (Nordstroms, Macys, JCrew, have been scouring the websites), but anyone have any non-typical suggestions?

White House Black Market has always delivered!! I got a great LBD to wear to a black tie optional wedding and this summer I got a floor length semi-formal to wear to another wedding. Their dresses are always so flattering. I love them.

@sweetchic: I probably wouldn't chance it. Ideeli has always taken at least a week to get to me and if you need alterations, you'd really be pressed for time.

I buy a lot of things of JcPenney's website. They have a much larger selection, but you can return it to the store if it doesn't work out.

Oh and I actually bought my last dress for a wedding at Target! Everyone complimented it and couldn't believe I bought it for $30!
