I think my dh has the flu, high temp, bad stomach.. I really don't want to catch it (I am the biggest wimp/whiner when near a sick person.) i absolutely obsess and probably make myself sick with worry.
Anyways I didn't get a flu shot this year, and I'm pregnant.
Do you sleep in separate beds when one of you is sick?

We usually sleep in the same bed when he's sick (or me), but when he got really sick when I was pregnant he slept on the futon/couch thing. As much for his comfort as my paranoia about catching it (even with a flu shot)--the futon is closer to the toilet

I'm tempted to sleep on the couch and let him have the bed, the bed is closer to th bathroom. He got a flu shot, I didn't. Gotta love paranoia, I'm still wondering if it could be food poisoning.

I sleep in another room. He had some nasty cold back in October and while he could dope himself up on medicine, I couldn't. And he tossed and turned and coughed up a lung all night, so I would've slept like crap had I stayed in that room. I slept great in another room and he didn't feel badly about keeping me up all night. And I didn't get sick.
Your DH may have the stomach flu, which the shot doesn't protect against.

We stay in the same bed. We have a king and just stay away from one another. Neither of us are willing to give up the bed no matter how sick the other is.

DH just had a nasty 24 hour bug this weekend and I slept on the bed in DD's room. I couldn't take the chance of catching it and having to care for a 10 week old.

I stayed in our bed all night, if he's not better tonight then I'm sleeping on the couch! I woke up to him cuddled up to me, breathing down my neck. I don't want to be sick and pregnant and chasing our nearly 15 month old!
