Do you have your own bedroom? Are there enough beds for your family (including kids that are past crib age?)

Thankfully, our parents live within minutes of each other. DH's parents have a room for us and a room for DD - it has a crib and a twin, so she'll share with kiddo #2 come january.
My parents still have all of their bedrooms full of kids, so we stay at the ILs.

at my in-laws, we sleep in dh's old bedroom (w 2 twin beds, ugh) and put a pack and play in their study. when we visit my family, it's more complicated--my parents sold their house to my brother, and one visit we slept at the house. but now they had another baby and one of my nieces is temporarily sleeping in the guest room, so we slept at my parents' 1 bedroom apt. my parents gave us the bed since the only place for the pack and play is in the room, and they slept on an air mattress in the living room. not ideal! we're going to visit again soon and I really hope we get to stay at my brother's (their guest room is my old room, I want my room back! lol).

My in laws have 3 vacant bedrooms, so there is a spot for all of us (including when DD2 comes in the fall). My SILs live 15 minutes away so they never spend the night.
My sister still lives at home, so my parents have 2 vacant bedrooms. We fit for now and I imagine once the baby is big enough, they will reconfigure the bedroom for multiple kiddos.

Both sets of parents live 20 min away. When we see my sister in SF we stay at an Air BNB or Bed & Breakfast. So far we have not visited with the babe.

When we visit my inlaws, we have two spare bedrooms we can bunk in. One of them is really the office, but usually, my FIL is on vacation so he's not working while we are there.
When we visited my parents, we did a bunch of things. We have stayed in my former room, in the master with the crib and in their attached apartment. My favorite solution was the attached apartment.

My mom has 2 spare bedrooms both with a queen.
DS likes to sleep with my mom
DD gets one bed
DH and I get the other

At my inlaws we have the basement suite all to ourselves with two bedrooms. My folks have no great sleeping options so we always stay at an Embassy Suites. My mom has a PNP at her house for naps.

With twins on the way, we've decided to look into renting a home when we travel home in Christmas. One because we'll be visiting both families and will need something in between. (Our two families are about 45 min from each other.) Two because the MIL will be selling her house soon and moving to south and she will be back in the area and we talked about getting hotel rooms. My sister suggested finding a home to rent (with the MIL) to make things more comfortable for us and our 1-2 week stay.
If it wasn't the holidays and my brother and his family wasn't coming into town, we could stay in my sister's basement. But I've decided that they are coming into town to see only my family (SIL's family does not live in area) and I certainly would want not them to get a hotel room.

DS and I sleep in my old bedroom and DH sleeps in my brother's room (queen beds). If we're visiting my in-laws, we all sleep in DH's old room and share a bed or DH sleeps on the floor if we're too squished.
DS is a heavy roller.

My mom has a 4 bedroom house. DH and I get a room, the office has a crib for my son. If my siblings are visiting one takes the other guest room and one gets a couch. Rare to all be there at the same time though.

We stay at my parents' house pretty often so I have my old room all set up for us with a queen bed and a toddler bed (although LO just sleeps with us like at home). My brother and his wife can stay in his old room and there's still a guest room leftover. Maybe LO will sleep there when he's older.
I didn't think it was weird that we still have our rooms at my parents' house until we bought our own house. I already have plans for those spare bedrooms when the kids move out!

We don't stay with my ILs as they are local. For my parents, when they're at their house in NY they have plenty of bedrooms. We sleep in one and DS has a separate one. There's also a 3rd bedroom that just has a couple couches in it, so when we have #2 one kid can stay in there or both can sleep in the other room.
When my parents are at their condo in FL, there's only 2 bedrooms total. So we have a bedroom and DS sleeps in the PnP next to us. Not sure what we'll do as he gets bigger or when we have #2. My parents have considered upgrading to a 3br down the line.

At my inlaws, they are in a high rise condo with 1 spare bedroom, so DH and I and LO are in 1 room. But sometimes LO sleeps in their room.
At my mom's LO sleeps in her travel crib in my mom's walk in closet (my mom does that with all her grandkids--her closet is gigantic and the size of a bedroom, plus no windows so kids sleep in). DH and I sleep in a spare bedroom with a queen bed.

At my parents we have 3 bedrooms to choose from. We sleep in one while our lo sleeps in the other.
At the inlaws my lo and I share the bed and DH gets an air bed that we take with us.

My parents have 2 spare rooms so DH and I will have one and LO will be in the other. When we have stayed at MILs in the past, we all had to share the same room (DH, LO & I...not MIL!).

Both of our parents have spare guest bedrooms. So we just stay with them at their house!

Yes, both parents still have enough room for us and kids when we stay.

My mom gives us her room and she sleeps next door with my niece. My 3yr old and I sleep in her bed. DH sleeps on a twin and we'll be bringing a PnP for dd2. It's tight!
In laws are 15 minutes away.

My parents and dh's parents live in the same town. We usually stay with my parents though

My ILS live 5 houses down so no need to sleep over there. If we had to, for whatever reason, they have a guest room for kids (my old bunk beds live there) and adults.
My parents' house has 4 extra rooms so our family and my sister's family can all stay. Our hope is that the grandkids (all girls!) will want to bunk together when they are old enough. We've also borrowed a camper to host even more people there. My parents live in a great vacation town.

We recently visited my dad and he offered his bed, but we were happy to sleep in a spare room that had a twin and use our own blow up mattress. My mom lives close, but we would use my old room with a queen bed. We stay in hotels when we visit my in laws because they don't have spare rooms.

I Airbnb when I go home to visit. I like to stay in the city and they live in the suburbs.
