A lot of the pharmacies I've been to have a line/sign where you are supposed to stand until they call you (for patient privacy). The Walgreens I go to now doesn't have a sign. When I go to pick up a prescription, I stand probably 4-5 feet away from the counter until the pharmacist approaches or calls me.
Today I went to pick up a prescription, and the only visible pharmacist was on the phone. As I was standing there waiting, a woman came up and stood next to minute. Another pharmacist walked towards the counter, and she walked right up to him! I couldn't believe it! Not only was I there first, I'm very pregnant. She really couldn't have waited?
So, where do you stand when you go to the pharmacy?
