@kiddosc: that would be even worse - I'd hate for her to get a hold of a permanent marker at daycare when someone might not be looking! lol

We have a coffee container with one of those metal latches. She probably could undo it but not easily. I also keep it on top of the fridge so she would have to get it down and unlatch it.
Where do you keep your medicines? Could you store them there?

We have them stashed all over the house, I love sharpies and use them for everything... I havent even thought about her getting a hold of one....

WAY up in a top cabinet. DH is 6'8", so he usually puts them up and I'll ask him or climb on a counter if I need them. HAHA

I did leave one out while we were in the middle of moving. L found it and started drawing on everything. Cabinets, leather chair, leather stool, coffee table, toys, pillows....

In a drawer or in a cup on the desk. The kids can easily reach them, but they know that they're not to touch them so they don't.

In DH car! I needed one the other day to label a box and DH was at work so I used a crayon.
