Here in Oregon. We would like to move to central Oregon if possible, if we are not able to full time we will get a vacation home there then eventually retire. I like the climate- high desert, 300 days of sun with 4 seasons.

I'm open to moving for DHs work, which is a possibility with his company. I'd be especially interested in living in Europe- like I did with my family.

We will most likely live in New York City or its suburbs for the forseeable future. I'd be thrilled if we eventually do another stint in Asia when the girls are a bit older, though!

This is such a good question! My husband and I decided we want to move out of state so we can afford a house (cost of living here is so high!) but we dont really know where we want to live.

We love our current situation...when we play the "what would we do if we won the lottery" game we still like our current house and neighborhood! So Pennsylvania it is!

I'm pretty sure we will live in our current city, in the UK, until we die. Id love to move by the sea but the town we are in love with just has no work.... even if we could secure jobs up there, it wouldn't be right to move our kids somewhere with so little opportunities.

Like @stiletto_mom, I was born in Toronto and live here now (or, at least, just outside Toronto). I imagine we'll stay here for friends and family, but if that wasn't a factor I would move to Ottawa. I lived there for 2 years after I graduated and loved it.

@Cherrybee: so curious, which town by the sea do you love?

I really don't know. I'm not even sure which country to be honest. But if we stay in the UK I imagine we will always be in Yorkshire.

We'll stay in NY until retirement and then we'll see!

@travelgirl1: @Cherrybee: This makes me laugh because I grew up in Scarborough and now live in Whitby, but both are the suburbs of Toronto and not the cities in the UK.

Who knows? I like living in the Boston area and want to stay here (probably the burbs sooner than later) but there is no denying the weather can suck and it's really expensive. And we don't have much family here but do have a lot of friends. DH would like to move someplace warmer though.

My friends parents have a summer house in New England and spend the winters in Puerto Rico- I'd like to do that!!

I suspect we will live in CT forever. All of our family is here and I just can't see us moving.

I think we will live in Seattle, though if our LOs settled in California with their families, I would not be opposed to following them!

I'm pretty sure we'll live in NY forever. We're back in the burbs now but would love to move back to the city later in life. Or we've also discussed moving cross country to Seattle when we're older, so we'll see

Greenville SC is the plan. At least until retirement.

We really like where we are now, and will likely stay here, but there's always the possibility of moving for D's job.

I have no idea. We are making a huge move to Chicago this summer and will be there for three years. After that we will decide where we want our forever home to be! It could be anywhere

Probably So Cal, hopefully near the beach forever! Making a move in the next month or two to secure those two things!

We are military and will probably settle in the Houston area when I retire. That's in probably ten years, so who knows.

Even though we feel pretty settled where we are now (NY metro area), I'm not sure where we will wind up. We are petty happy here but I'd like to live internationally at some point and wonder if moving/going back to one of our old areas may also be in the cards for us. I guess it all depends on work/family situations.
