Dallas is so UGLY. I want to retire somewhere with mountains/a beach/a lake/hills/foliage/ANYTHING beautiful.

Right where I am. I love where I live. And I hope to maybe do the snowbird thing and have a house in Florida to winter in the south.

Somewhere along Carolinas' coastline.

On Lake Travis in Austin. We're eventually relocating from NorCal to Austin, and I think a house on the lake would be ideal.

I read this as "when do you want to retire?" and I was like, uhhh, now? Haha, but in terms of location, I'd love to be near a beach!

Georgia. We can be close to family and within driving distance of the beach without constantly dealing with tourist traffic.

Prince Edward Island. It's right next door to my home province (and family) but it's soooo beautiful that it feels like a different world.

We would love to retire in Ecuador (dh's home country). The cost of living is quite low, real estate is cheap, and the climate is just about perfect. And it is relatively easy to go back and forth to the US, as the flight is only 5-6 hours with no layovers.

We'd live to travel and live internationally for a few years right at the beginning of retirement and then buy a ranch in Montana.

It depends where my kids are. But I would love it if they stayed here, there's tons to do and I live right by the beach.

I have no idea! We still have 35+ years. We have time to think about it.

Maui, but hopefully we're super rich by then (haha) and can afford to keep a house in Seattle so we can continue to live here in the summers. July/August in Seattle trumps Maui any day!
