Our delivery people ring the bell but don't wait.... They leave the packages in the entryway to our house.
I'm not that worried about them being stolen (this used to happen at our apt) but I am worried about them getting rain damaged.
today it was pouring!
Is there some sort of box that they can leave stuff in?
Where do they leave your packages when you aren't home.

Our delivery people usually put the boxes in a plastic bag if it's raining or it looks like it's going to rain. They leave the boxes in front of our door, but we don't have much of an overhang so they'd get soaked otherwise.

Depending on the size, sometimes the post puts the package between our screen door and actual front door.

On our front porch, or if it's raining on the deck in the carport.
At my parents' house, they always put a plastic bag around their deliveries.

It varies.. Sometimes front door, sometimes back door...if they think its gonna rain they usually put it in a large plastic bag.. There have been a few times when they didn't predict the rain and my stuff got soaked. Luckily it wasn't damaged!

Right in front of the door. They'll put it in a bag of it's raining (or between the screen/door if it's small enough).

Front building hallway if other residents are home. Otherwise, they leave them on the back porch if instructed to. I had one Amazon package left out in the rain, but they put a plastic bag over it, so no soaking for me.

By the front door, but the area in front of our door is covered so they don't get wet when it rains.

They put them in the craziest places! Under our back door mat (which they have to go through our fence gate to get to), behind our garbage cans (also way in our backyard), under our welcome mat (which just makes it super obvious).
