She sleeps in her boppy pillow (it has straps to secure her) in her crib at night.
She naps in her swing, bouncer or bassinet (part of the pack n play) in the living room.
I reserve the crib for bedtime so she associates it as such.
At 6 weeks she is now sleeping 5 plus hours at night in her crib. She will not sleep that long anywhere else so I know that she's associating the crib to bed time.

As a newborn, LO napped anywhere and everywhere. We didn't bother to try to have any consistency for where we put him down till he was 3 or 4 months old. At night he slept in the co-sleeper attachment thing next to our bed, but during the day he'd nap on people, in the swing, in the vibrating bouncy chair thing, in his carseat, in the baby carrier, in the middle of my bed, etc. I just put him down on whatever relatively flat and comfy surface was handy

She napped either in R&P (moved it to living room), swing, bouncy seat, or on me. She never napped in the crib even if she sleeps at night well. We struggle with that now at almost 8 months.

Mine napped in a swing in the living room. Pnp at night.

P slept primarily on me, sometimes in the RnP in whatever room I was in, and for a period in the bouncer set right next to the TV with worship music playing very loud (she took her longest naps like this).

She didn't start sleeping in the room for naps (without me) until she was 5+ months old. I was okay with this though b/c I feel that's how we were created to sleep as infants... close to our mommas. She sleeps during the day fine independently now (we still co-bed part of the night).

She mostly napped on me. Occasionally she slept in the Nap Nanny.

I wore Lorelei for all naps until she was about 11 months. Now she naps independently (really well!). I don't know that you really can mess them up, at least not too much. Ellie was just a bad sleeper all around until she was school aged, and Lorelei is and has been much easier in that regard even though she was totally "spoiled."
