She usually gets milk with dinner, though sometimes she grabs water instead. We don't really do a 'before bed' milk.

we're still nursing, so from the tap on our rocking chair in her room!

He gets his before bed sippy cup in his rocking chair while I read him a bedtime book. It's his last transition into cups - no more bottles! Once he's used it, we're going to give it to him with dinner before bath.

He's gotten milk with dinner since we switched to a sippy at a year. Once he stopped nursing at 15 months, we didn't replace it with anything, so his last milk is at dinner.

She usually drinks it in her chair and then we brush teeth, although (bad mom) I have let her drink it the last 2 nights in her crib bcause she needed to sleep and refused to quit playing to drink it. She seems to drink it when laying down quietly & lately she's been refusing to drink any milk. So I will let her do it until this phase passes.

With dinner. But sometimes he asks for more after and he drinks it on the couch

Usually in the rocking chair with me right before bed. I know it's awful b/c teeth aren't brushed but he doesn't really drink milk with dinner most nights so this is the last ditch effort to get more in him for the day. May have to work on this very soon.

When she did drink milk it was snuggled up on her glider. We switched to water, but she doesn't even want that anymore.

In bed from a slow flow sippy cup.
No way could I give it to him with dinner! He would just drink it and forget dinner:( we can't give him any drinks with his good because he just won't eat anymore.

In the bed in his room after bath and with a book... It's very snuggly, I love that time... After he's done he puts his arms out and i pick him up and he snuggles into me with his head on my shoulder till I put him in his crib .... DH and I sometimes fight over who gets to perform this ritual

Since we weaned his bedtime nursing session at 14 months he hasn't had a bedtime feed. He gets milk at dinner and had a straw cup of water in his crib.

Those of you who give bottles right before bed, do you brush their teeth afterwards? We give him just a 1 or 2oz comfort bottle on the sofa about 30 minutes before bedtime (usually my husband gives it to him) and then we brush his teeth and take him upstairs to bed.
