I would say it's about the same, 75% high chair, 25% crawling back & forth between our laps.

She usually starts out sitting in the booth or on a regular chair (kneeling so she can reach the table - she refuses boosters) and then gravitates over to our laps.

He now kneels or stands in the booth. He can undo the clips in high chairs. Sometimes we will sit him in one though when the food arrives, but he's a dare devil and will make attempts to get out

40% high chair and the other times she wants to sit in a chair next to us

Olive has pretty much refused a high chair always, so she sits in a regular chair.

In the booth or on a regular chair. Every once in awhile we can convince him to use a booster seat. Unless he is tired or doesn't feel well, he stays in his seat rather than wanting to be held.

DD likes to sit on a high chair but I have to bring her high chair cover that has pockets for her toys.

Highchair all the time. He's usually pretty good for the duration of a meal as long as he has something to munch on.

Liam is two and it's easiest if we can get a booth and block him in. He will sit in a high chair if there is no booth option, but not for the whole meal.

Still a highchair, for now (LO is 19 months). We'll probably switch to a booster seat within the next few months though.

DD - regular chair or a high chair
DS - high chair or lobster.

She hasn't sat in a high chair in months. We usually try to request a booth but if there none available she sits in a regular chair. And yes toward the end she usually ends up in our laps!

In the high chair if he fits, but he's getting to big for most of them. If not, in a regular chair.

Sometimes in the high chair if he will tolerate it, then we will try a booster or our laps. Eating out is exhausing and much more of a chore these days!
