Home is where my bed is! But, I know if we moved, here would still be home.

I still call my parents house home, though.

I'm like your husband! When I go visit my parents in my hometown (in a new home I never lived in) I say I'm "going home." But at the end of the weekend when I head back to my house I say I'm "headed home" then too!

I don't know if I say it when we are traveling--- but probably. Home just means wherever I'm sleeping that night, I think. haha.

Home is where we live. Our little family. Not our parents house or any other place. We just stayed at my dad's house for a week while our bathroom was being redone and the whole time I just could not wait to get back home! Even though I grew up living there its not my home anymore.

Home is my house, my bed as well. I've been in this city for 10 years on my own, so it's home to me. My parent's house doesn't feel like "home" anymore and hasn't for some time. It's nice to visit there, but it's not where my anchored life is. DH referred to his hometown as "home" when he went back for a funeral. It was a little nerve wracking since we spent months in counseling where I stressed "leave and cleave" which his mom struggles with as he's a grown adult with a wife and child.

Utah. Really anywhere in Utah feels like home to me. But especially my parents house or cabin. It just feels like home to be with my family.

My house! My parents divorced after I moved out, so neither of their houses feel like 'home,' and I only visit my hometown every 6 months or so. The city I live in definitely feels like my city now!

"Home" is St Louis. Not even a particular house in St Louis, just the city itself. We've lived overseas for over 2 years now and at no point has either of us felt like where we currently live is home.

I am a person with two homes too - where we currently live and going "home" to my hometown and my parents house where I grew up.

DH refers to his hometown (across the country) as "home".

Where we live now is home too, but I know his heart will never leave his hometown/home province.

Hometown for me is 20 minutes away from where we live now, I struggle to call our current city home (though I do!) with some local/area jokes about the city, but our address and those four walls are definitely home!

I don't have one. I haven't lived in a place long enough in the last decade or so to really call it home, and neither have my parents so... Home is just a feeling now, not a place.

I'm mostly okay with that.

home is both wherever I'm living, ie my apartment with dh and our dogs, and my parents' home (although my parents don't live there anymore--my brother and his family actually do!). last summer I lived abroad for just over 2 months, and I called that apartment "home" too, though I felt guilty when I said that in front of dh!

Home is my house, but home is also my parent's house/town. I've lived in my city since college (10+ years) and I still always say "I live here but my hometown is XXXXX." I guess it's where I wish I could be!

Ireland, that's where I grew up and all my family live. But I do now say that I am an Irish New Yorker who found her home in the West. I think as time goes by, where your kids grow up becomes your 'home'.

Home is where we live right now but when we go back to my parent's house I say I'm home.

Home describes both the house in which I live with my family and my hometown. {I moved back "home" and brought DH with me.}

@mrs. wagon: DH used to refer to his mom's house like that too. Once he complained about the new paint colors she chose, and I told him, "Well lucky for you it's not your home anymore." He stopped shortly thereafter.

Definitely the general "area" I live in--the Pacific Northwest. I love where I live. As long as I am in the Northwestern part of Washington and am close to the water, I think I will always feel at home.
I don't feel very "at home" at my house because DH bought it before he met me. In fact, his ex-girlfriend lived in the house we live in. I will feel a lot more at home when we get to pick out a house together for the family we built.

Home for me is sort of mixed: I grew up in Portland, so that is "home," although feels less and less so the longer I stay away. I still find myself saying we're going to visit "home" when we plan a trip there to see my fam. We live in a suburb of Seattle currently, but before that lived in the city, and I feel more at home in the city of Seattle. I do love my house though, and it's the home I brought my DD home to, and the one we'll bring DD#2 home to, so that makes our house feel like home.

I still call my parent's house home, it's the house I grew up in. We live about 40 minutes away now. I feel I both my house and their house is "home"
