Got from a large local baby furniture store. Munire is the brand. Love it. Sturdy and still going strong using the matching toddler rail almost 6 years and two boys later. It also made a half way around the world trip with almost no damage.

Thanks, all, for the suggestions! Found this beauty on walmart.com. It's only $250, includes the toddler conversion rail, has a shelf for crib sheets, etc and matches the dresser for the nursery.

@simplyfelicity: We got a baby mod (or the equivalent...still same company, but at Target) and we've loved it. It still looks brand new and LO is 19 months.

I really need to just get a crib for DD...she's been sleeping in bed with me the past year and maybe I'll spring for the IKEA crib now! -
After looking and researching tons of different cribs from different stores and websites I ended up getting mine from babies r us which is the last place I thought I would buy it from.
