I keep hearing wonderful things about coconut oil as a moisturizer that's natural and I'd LOVE to use it on Xander. He's got some ezcema and craddle cap and he's obviously super itchy - he keeps scratching at his face. I've been using Vaseline, but I'm nervous about it because he'll scratch his face and then suck on his fingers! So I'd like to use something a little more safe for him to eat!
But... I can't find coconut oil!! Where do you find it???

Coconut oil is so excellent! We use it on his bum too if it gets red. I get it at the grocery store, Whole Foods or Trader Joe's. I think usually in with the other oils, or perhaps baking. I don't remember.

In the oil section of the grocery store. You can also buy it giant quantities for a really good price at Costco.

@luckypenny: Okay, Trader Joes will be my last resort - I don't have one super local to me, so it's not convenient, but definitely if I can't find it anywhere else, that's where I'll go!

Okay, sounds like I'll definitely be able to find it at Trader Joe's if I can't find it anywhere else! Too bad Trader Joe's is a 40 minute drive from me. Booo.

@mrsmate: Just checked - guess you can do a free 3-month trial, which includes Prime, and then after that, it's the $79 Prime price.

@Adira: I wouldn't be surprised if I singlehandedly shut down free Prime for a year. I bought and returned so many things on Amazon, I don't think I went to BRU once the whole time I had it.
