Hi everyone, FF can't seem to pinpoint my O-day despite the chart being biphasic and my temp staying up.
I noticed what looked like EWCM and OPK signaled peak day on CD 19, but I didn't check my cervix until the next day. When I checked, it was hard and closed.

What time did you take that OPK on CD 19? Pretty sure that's the day you ovulated... not sure why FF is having a hard time with it.

I'd say CD19, unless there's a big time difference in when you took that temp. But it's definitely around there.

@Adira: As soon as I woke up. I take my temp everyday when I wake up, even if the dot is an empty circle, it's taken after I wake up. I just wake at different times.

@stiletto_mom: I meant your OPK - did you take that as soon as you woke up? If you did, then I could've ovulated the same day. If you took the OPK later, then maybe not until the next day. But your temps seem to indicate you probably ovulated CD 19.

@stiletto_mom: Seems pretty clear it happened CD19. What happens if you take the OPK off your chart? Do you get crosshairs then?

FF probably doesn't like the inconsistent temping times.
"As soon as you wake up" isn't consistent. It needs to be the same time (or within about a 30 minute range) in order for temping to be accurate.
I forget the actual conversion, but I think for every hour you sleep later your temp can rise .2 degrees. So even if it's as soon as you wake up, it can lead to uneven charting.

I agree with MaryM, FF probably is having trouble with the inconsistent times. It looks like day 19 to me, but my first thought was "why all the open circles?"

@MaryM: Well I usually wake up between 8 - 10am. But after 8:30, it would register as an open circle. Even given that and just looking at the solid dots, it still looks to me like my temp did go up.

But your temp rising isn't enough to verify ovulation. You have to have three temps in a row that are higher than the previous 6 temps, and there isn't enough data to register that if you remove the open dots.
you'll get better results if you always temp at the same time. Set an alarm and temp, then go back to sleep if you want to sleep in.
