(1) In-home daycare, 8 min drive
PRO - Cheapest. DH knows one of the teachers. More flexible in care (esp if she needs to nap in a separate area)
CON - Amenities not as good since it's in-home. Not as much structure/activities. Will eventually switch her to a center for preschool.

(2) Daycare center, 2 min drive
PRO - All the amenities of a center (to me that means more structure, activities, better facility, etc). Can stay till Kindergarten.
CON - More expensive (but this one is the least expensive already). Can't nap elsewhere but teachers will hold/rock.

As of yesterday we were all set for the in-home, but the director of the center suddenly called me back and I went to take a look today. Obviously, if I only care about cost, I would stick with the in-home, but the lower cost of the center has me shaken now, b/c there are things I love about a center that you just don't get with an in-home, and the increase in price is something we can make it work, so that's where I'm stuck now! I feel like we could be happy in both!
