@Crumbs: I was too young to really think of the harm in eating them, I just miss that I put it on EVERYTHING. I found a six pack for 50 cents and thought it was the luckiest day of my life...then I realized they were so cheap because they were being discontinued

@TurtleDoves: I've seen (and sampled) russel stovers smores bars. Graham crackers on the outside, with a chocolate covered marshmallow between. I may have had to sample one when I spied it in the checkout of cvs. And again a few weeks later at the walmart checkout

OMG Bonkers were pretty much my favorite thing when I was a kid. I feel like they must have had lard or something in them because they were almost...greasy??
And I'm not sure if it's discontinued but I haven't seen it in years - Bubblicious gum in orange flavor. I also used to like a gum called Fresh-up (i think?) that had goo in the middle but I think I've seen that they still sell it in old timey pharmacies.

I used to LOVE tart-n-tinys before they became candy coated.
I also love me some sugar babies, but I can't seem to find them anywhere lately! Probably better for my teeth - but it would be nice to satisfy my craving.

@prettylizy: i think they still sell kinder eggs but the toys stink. I had my friend smuggle them in when he was visiting from paris.

They don't make tangy taffy anymore? We used to love that, we'd buy them for 10 cents a piece at the local Ben Franklin store!

What the heck!? I've heard of almost none of these. I guess I wasn't allowed much candy as a kid or something. Do remember tart n tinys pre coating as another poster said, and those were pretty good.

I don't even know what they were called, they were peppermint puffs, like balls of spun sugar that were peppermint flavored. I used to get them at Woolworths.
