I've never been to Vegas and DH has only been once a long time ago. Trying to decide between these 3.
Bellagio
Palazzo
Venetian
Which one would you recommend?

I heard Palazzo is awesome, but I've never been (it was still being built the last time I visited Vegas). I've stayed in Venetian a few times and it's nice (all rooms are suites), but it's not the same caliber as Bellagio and Palazzo (which I heard was even nicer).

I've stayed at Palazzo & Venetian - both are awesome! Beautiful, spacious rooms and great amenities. Bellagio is gorgeous and definitely has an upscale, romantic vibe. You can't go wrong with any of those choices -- have fun!

Bellagio has a way better and cooler pool! All are super nice but Bellagio wins my vote.

I stayed at the cosmopolitan in April, because someone else paid for it!
DH and I both agreed though that we'd stay at the Bellagio if we could ever go back!

@shortiecake: The Palazzo & Venetian are more expensive but the room is way bigger and the rate includes breakfast. But the Bellagio looks gorgeous, too...I might just have to get DH to choose!

I would NOT vote for the Bellagio. We went in 2011 and their service was horrible. They gave us the ring around multiple times for simple requests. Even asking them where their computer room was so we could print something, they gave us the wrong directions! We were very upset with our stay there.

If location matters, Bellagio would be my pick. It's smack dab in the middle of the strip while Venetian/Palazzo is more North. However, if you're driving, Venetian/Palazzo might be better bc you're right off the highway and can take backroads to avoid the strip!
Is Aria an option? We're great fans of that hotel along with Caesars!

I stayed at the Venetian a couple of years ago for a work event. The room had a sunken living area attached to the bedroom. It was one of the nicest hotel rooms I've ever seen. Too bad I wasn't in it much and didn't have anyone to share it with!

@Alivoo01: I looked into Aria because it's highly rated on TripAdvisor. The rate is comparable to Venetian/Palazzo, but the Venetian/Palazzo rooms are 200 sq ft bigger and include in-suite breakfast.
@krispi: The Palazzo rooms are similar with the sunken living area...they both look so pretty in pics!

they're all nice, but i vote for bellagio. disclaimer i've never been to palazzo.

I think they would all be awesome hotels. Bellagio is more central to the Strip which would be MUCH more convenient! PLUS, all that extra access to their amaaazing fountains that I could watch forever!

@lawbee11: 200 sq ft is quite a bit bigger! Are you needing the extra room for luggage and play space for M?

Just got back from the Palazzo and so far it's my favourite Vegas hotel (closely followed by Cosmo). I hated the Bellagio, the rooms were outdated and the whoel feel of the hotel felt old to me.

@Alivoo01: Oh no M will not be going...we would be trapped in our room at 7pm every night! I just like that it has a separate living room area with a huge couch.

@lawbee11: I really think it would be money well spent...especially since the rate comes with breakfast! Another plus - there is a really good restaurant (Grand Lux Cafe) in the lobby of Venetian/Palazzo! When you do decide, you need to start a thread about places to eat... So many good restaurants in Vegas!

I have only stayed at the Venetian, so I voted for that! DH and I loved it! Have fun!!

@lawbee11: oh. hahaha! My bads! Then I say splurge with the bigger rooms and "free" breakfast. Enjoy the trip!!
DH and I both agreed though that we'd stay at the Bellagio if we could ever go back!
