My nephew is turning 2 this month and I'd like to get him a pounding toy. Does your lo have one? Do you like it?

We have the second one (pound and roll tower) and it's great! Both of my kids play with it daily. It's super sturdy and my kids love watching the balls roll down the ramps. The only downside I'd say is that my kids will sometimes throw the wooden balls and hit our hardwood floors. And the balls are heavy and made of wood so if you have hardwood floors (or if your nephew is a thrower), I'd look into something else. It's a really fun toy though. And whenever we have playdates, all of the kids end up gravitating towards it.

@banana: he's a holy terror and they have wood floors they just had put in. Good thought...although, this may drive my SIL insane which would be fun to watch... he he he.

@mediagirl: That does sound fun to watch. heehee. Yeah if he's a wild one, I'd stay away from that toy. Heavy wooden balls + hammer + hardwood floors. Oy.
