For an upcoming presentation (250 ppl) I am wearing the colorful printed sheath and taupe jacket. The dress is a linen blend, the jacket is smoother suiting material. My two shoe choices are:
Closed toe heel in faux croc to bring out the darker brown in the dress.
OR
Open toe wedge in taupe with gold thread linen to match the jacket and lighter beige in the dress.

While the wedges are a good color match to the jacket, I think the heels are the best fit for the outfit...Look more professional and dressy:). Good luck at your presentation!

Love the heel. But if you're standing for awhile I think the wedge looks more comfy.

Either would be great. I like the color of the wedge but prefer a heel.

I wore heels and felt tall, lol. The presentation went really well. My co-presenter was my manager's manager . We went 9th so he had alot of people to compare me to. He said I projected my voice, was clear, and exuded confidence. He really liked the presentation I put together: my content and use of handouts to enhance the knowledge transfer. He noticed several people came up to me after to chat. His only suggestion was for me to leave the podium. I told DH this and he said Obama never leaves the podium. All in all I can safely check this off for my performance measure!

I don't think you could go wrong with either, but the heel seems like a slightly better fit. Good luck!
