We live in a cabin and need to get it restrained soon. We initially wanted to go natural/light blonde, but our logs have too many imperfections for a truly transparent stain. These are our semi transparent options.
What stain do you like best?

Here is our house (the roof is silver metal; we would be repainting the white trim around the windows to match the stain).

The top stain is my favorite stain, but I think the redwood suits your home better.

I voted cedar before I saw your house, but now I think one of the others would be better. 3 I think. Like peachykeen said, suits your house. You probably couldn’t go wrong with any colour. That’s a gorgeous house!!

I grew up in a cedartone log house, so I would vote for cedartone, except that your house would look so nice with the dark oak! It looks so cozy. I love me a log house

I like the dark oak for your house. I wouldn't' stain the trim though! I like the contrast.
