@Shutterbug: that walmart is horrible!! although, they remodeled since i went there last. it was really bad though.

Walmart is a 5 mile straight shot, target is 10 miles way out of the way so I almost never go there unless I am looking for something specific.

They're both equally close. I despise Walmart but love Target, so that's where I go. I was very sad when I lived in a town that only had a Walmart for the last couple of years. I never thought I could miss Target so much.

in NYC we only have Targets. but if i drive about 30 mins I can find a Walmart.

There's a City Target a couple blocks from my office. I have no idea where the closest Walmart is and that fine with me.

They're the same distance. They're right across the street from each other, and maybe 2-3 minutes from my house. I usually do both at least once a week.

The closest target is an hour away and I have 2 walmarts within 10 miles of my house.

Walmart is definitely closer but I avoid it at all costs. I will always pick Target.
