Girl, my white noise app is my favorite thing to have ever existed. I put it on & she's out pretty much immediately. It's just called "WhiteNoise." I had the free one, but upgraded. The free one won't run in the background. I couldn't use my phone when I had the white noise running & that was super annoying.

Relax and Sleep! Free, runs in the background AND has some pretty cool sounds.

Sleepmaker, also free and runs in the background. They have storms, waves, etc.

Mine I just called WhiteNoise (made by TMSoft). We've been using it for a couple years now when travelling and plan to use it when the baby arrives. We've tried. Couple others but keep going back o this one. It has probably 20-25+ sounds to choose from and will play in he background. I think it's probably the same one that @photojane has.

I also have White Noise, it's so handy when we're out and about! We have a white noise machine at home but the app is actually much louder.

sleep machine! it's great, you can mix your own white noise. at first i didn't like the it didn't run in the background, but now i do because it keeps me from doing other things on my phone when i should be resting.

we have the same one as @runsyellowlites: on our old iphone that we use only for white noise.
I use relax and sleep on my android phone.

@rawrasaur: Lol we use DH's old phone to *always* play hooked up to some small speakers... We use the ocean waves though.

Yep we have the same one as @runsyellowlites: he loves the "floor fan" sound! Knocked him out earlier.

Awesome ! Thanks everyone. We have a sound machine but the app is so great to use on the go! I used it in church this morning haha!

I know you probably found one but we love sleep pillow. And it runs in the background.
