Is one parent more in charge of bathtime than the other? I've been taking the lead, but last night DH did all of the bath stuff and did a good job. We talked about him doing all of the bath stuff, making it his thing. Not sure if we will, but I think he likes the idea of it.

My DH does bath time. He has fun with it, we do it in the big bath tub and he likes to hold her while she "swims".

My husband does. He enjoys the one on one time with her.
I help him if he needs me.

I almost always do. I offer to let DH do it every night, but he usually doesn't have an interest

It's a mutual thing. Maybe this is an over share, but I get in the bathtub with our LO who is nearly a year old. DH stays outside of the tub and keeps toys in reach and makes sure LO doesn't pull the chain on plug in the bathtub. We both get wet but we have lots of fun and he helps me rinse LO off in the end and takes him so I can get out of the tub.

I do it but I like for DH to help me when he can. He seems too nervous to do it on his own though.

My husband has always done bath time. He gets home late so this is their quality time and my relax time

My husband. He works late at least once a week though so I do it then.

DH does all her baths! He likes it.

We are both in the room but dh does the work. I think it gives them good bonding since I'm home with lo all day.

I do all the bath stuff and it's starting to drive me nuts. I need a break! I'm just better and more efficient that my husband is at doing it.

I do it but I know that my brother used to do all the bathing in his house and he loved it!

Me most of the time but dh did it tonight!

DH does bath time just about 100% of the time! It became his job when P was a couple months old and we were having trouble working together to take care of her.
He now loves it & serenades her while she splashes & "swims".

DH does his bath and I handle lotion and dressing him afterwards.

I am gone three nights out of the week so DH does it when I'm gone and I do it when I am home so it's about equal.

Dh takes the lead...and I help. Ds loves bathtime and we both like sharing the time w him.

We take turns, but when DH is on 2nd shift it's all on me.

Dh works days one week and nights the 2nd week, so when he's home for bath time we do it together but I let him take the lead. When he works nights then I do it by myself. Bath time is pretty fun

Me. DH helps if he is around when I do it. Since I'm on maternity leave I bathe her mid-morning, so he's not usually there for it.

I do it 80% of the time. It's such a nice break when DH helps out!

DH is the bath man around here. I can count on one hand how many baths I've given her. It's his thing and I love that.

@Rubies: He will get more efficient, I promise! You should get a little me time and let him do bedtime too!!!
