I didn't do a toss! My mom took my bouquet back to my hometown and placed it on my grandpa's grave for me.

We didn't do a toss. There would have been like 5 eligible people because the majority of my friends got engaged at the same time as me. I didn't want to subject the remaining singles to a bouquet toss.

lol, my guy friend's girlfriend at the time, they broke up a few months after

@MamaMoose: I probably wouldn't either! We had tons of singles at our wedding. Plus we wrapped a $100 bill around the handle so that really got everyone motivated.

I didn't toss it! We had a super small wedding and most people were already married anyway.

Didn't toss it here either. I really didn't want to, and I think there would have been approximately 3 people eligible to catch it. So...yeah.

@banana: @MamaMoose: thanks he meant a lot to me so I wanted to do something to honor that.

My husband's cousin's girlfriend. She was reaching for it, too! Funny thing is, they got engaged two weeks later at Mardi Gras. He had been planning it for weeks.

@mrs. bird: @banana: we love it too! We used it on her program at her funeral

@Coco Bee: Love it! My grandma was 79 at the time and she tried to catch it. We were all shocked since she hasn't expressed any interest in dating since my grandpa died.

My MOH caught mine! One of DH's step cousins plowed over his 8 year old niece when trying to catch it. MOH gave the bouquet to his niece sense she got hurt and was crying.

@Smurfette: oh yeah my grandma didn't try to date after her late husband died but it was just so funny that at nearly 90 years old she caught it.

didn't toss it because it was such a small wedding. there would have been only 3 girls in the pool, only one of which was itching to get engaged.
in hindsight, i wish i had just tossed the bouquet to the one girl. like, "hey, e! catch!" anyway, she got engaged the following month.

@Coco Bee: So cute that they both tried. I know that my grandma won't ever date either. She is still too in love with my grandpa.

Joining the ranks of people that didn't do a toss. I did bring mine to my Nonny's grave and left it at her headstone the next day.

My cousin. It wasn't my actual bouquet, just a smaller one for that purpose. My mom has my bouquet dried in a vase in her living room.

I had a toss bouquet that separated into 2 mini bouquets. I gave one half to my bridesmaid who was engaged to be married the following year. And I tossed the other half, and coincidentally, it was caught by my bridesmaid's younger sister! As for the garter toss, DH attached a $50 bill to the garter to "entice" the guys to participate. It worked!
At the time of our wedding, most of our friends were still single so we had plenty of participants. These days, I rarely see the bouquet/garter toss at weddings (and as a wedding planner, I'm at 20+ weddings a year!).

I didn't do a toss. There would have been about 4 single girls on the floor. We were just at a wedding where the bride did a toss and there were like 7 girls. I almost got up as a joke, because it was SO awkward.

My husband's cousin caught it. It was the sweetest thing, she is mentally handicapped and she had the biggest brightest smile on her face! It was priceless

I didn't do a toss. I gave it to DH's grandma after an anniversary dance. They had been married 68 years (they hit 70 this year!!!) at the time.
They got married in 1942, right before DH's grandpa left to fight WWII.

@PearlBee: I have the best picture of her holding the toss bouquet at home I will have to find it and upload it. Probably one of my favorite moments of our reception!!
