I only say "I love you" regularly to DH and LO. I rarely say it to my parents because we never said it that much when I was growing up! I type or write it to them but can't get myself to say it much in person....

Always to DH, multiple times a day, always to LO, again multiple times a day...and after I get off the phone with/leave my parents. I also say I love you to my siblings and nieces and nephews if we are leaving each other.

Only to the hubby. My family aren't really touchy feely type of people.

Dh, multiple times a day. And I always say it on the phone with my parents or siblings, as we are getting off the phone. We've pretty much always been like that. I have the morbid feeling like, well if this is the last time I talk to that person, I want the last thing I said to be I love you.

DH multiple times per day, my family when ever I talk to them, to my bump whenever she moves around, and to my animals all the time.

I say it to DH all the time! And my kitties, I tell them a couple times a day that I love them. I really don't say it to my family that much, it just feels weird....we never really said it much growing up

@autumnlove: I seriously feel like we're the same person!
I only say it to my LO and my husband. My parents never said it growing up because they're just not lovey/touchy feely. They did show it, though! My grandparents will sometimes say it and I say it back but it feels so awkward.

@sorrycharlie: LOL, my mil said it to me the other day and I clammed up! I do love her but it weirded me out!

DH and LO every day, and also my mom pretty much every day (we're really close and we talk a lot). My dad and my sister, pretty regularly. My grandparents whenever I see/talk to them. A few of my girlfriends.
I don't think I've ever said it to FIL (or MIL when she was alive), or BIL, but I think I've probably said it back to DH's aunt or godmother. They're pretty huggy and we're relatively close. DH's family in general doesn't say it nearly as much as mine does, but I think it makes a difference that my family is female-dominated (two kids, both daughters), whereas MIL passed away and DH just has a brother.
