@anonysquire: from one cat owner to another, you know a paper-link chain will not survive one day in my house!

@TurtleDoves: I had to have a procedure done on my cervix back in May, and i guess my doctor wants it to be completely healed before we start trying. She originally said 6 months but then she said we could try a little earlier, i'm thinking after my next pap in September we could start. It really feels like a lifetime away.

@TurtleDoves: august will come before you know it! i have to wait at least 1 - 2 years. i go back to a job in november that i only worked at for 3 months before taking a year mat leave, so i feel i should work at least 1 - 2 years before i get pregnant and take another year off!
@travelgirl1: i did not know this! so exciting that you will be trying again so soon! or who knows, you may get surprised even sooner!

@TurtleDoves: Yes that would be awesome to know someone else pregnant. Everyone who had babies when I had a baby have already had their second ugh. I'm still waiting to start on my second.
As for MSPI, no dairy or soy for the last trimester AND at the first hint of problems I will change my diet. I am NOT going through that again. It was a nightmare.

I hate being a stable married adult, and having to wait to try! I just got a promotion at work so want to wait until November at the earliest, but we may wait until next June to try for a spring baby and I would've been at my job for over a year before telling them. However if we try in November and it magically happens the first try I wouldn't announce to my boss until after my 1yr work anniversary anyways. And if it doesn't happen in Nov-Dec, we would plan to avoid Jan-May anyways.

Hahah aw you will make it. My mom told me one thing that was hard about havin babies so close in age is that she wished she had a bit more time to focus on me. My sister came a 13 months after me though. Just try to enjoy your little boy in the interim because when you are pregnant with another at some point you won't feel well or be able to hold him and give him your all, not to mention when the new baby comes. No experience can replicate that first baby. This is what helps me wait 6-12 months until we try for number two. I have baby fever also. Oh and I hope I don't offend Elley or anyone who is having close together babies because trust me there are no two sibs closer than my sister and I. There is something very special about two under two and seeing them enjoy each other as well. Just offering the other side for those of us waiting.

@TurtleDoves: I didn't know you were in a PhD program, too! We were originally shooting for that timing, too, but I also have somelate April flexibility as well. At this point, I'm less concerned about timing, to be honest, but it would be helpful. I hope you get pregnant soon!!

@TurtleDoves: welp, I'm back to waiting...womp womp. DH (even though we tried last month) wants to accomplish more on our to-do list before we have another. The only part holding me back is that I'm working HARD to get in shape so I won't feel like an elephant when I'm pregnant again. So, I'm okay as long as I get skinny (erm..."healthy") before we try.

@anonysquire: LOVE the paper chain idea!
I'm so gonna do that. We're expecting to start our first TTC journey next month, too, so that's a funny way to count down. Maybe will write something on each day to do to prepare mentally/physically/spiritually/financially, etc...

Waiting to try here. Working on my body and my self before we start trying. I really want a 2014 baby, so we figure we have until March to make that happen.

Waiting here. I want to start trying next spring/summer, but DH is a little reluctant. I really think he will have a hard time pulling the trigger. He wants children and will be a great dad, but I think he is just afraid.
I want to take a trip to Europe and try to get in better shape before we try.
