85% of the time DH will get sick when one of the girls so much as sniffles. I've been lucky and don't generally get sick when they do.

Our LO really only gets ear infections (knock on wood!) and we don't catch them. The only two worse things I can't think of are when she got the flu and no one else caught it, and when half her class had pink eye, she avoided it but my husband got it!!

We both do DH is pretty resilient, but lately, he's been hit hard. It usually starts with LO and if DH gets sick, then I'm a goner (and it takes me much longer to recover). I feel like we've all been constantly sick for the last 6 months. I'm sick now.

Always me. I had a good streak going where I would start taking echinacea and elderberry syrup and zinc and vitamin c as soon as the toddler started getting sick and I would only get a mild case of whatever she had, but we all got this latest cold bad. Toddler ended up with an ear infection from it, I got it pretty bad, then the baby.
Dh hardly ever gets sick, but when he does, it's so stereotypical man cold. Drives me insane since I'm always catching their colds but he's like, I can't even function!

Usually D. I've been very lucky...E had a stomach bug last year, and I spent about 4 days cleaning up and being covered in vomit and shit (plus he was pretty much attached to me the whole time). I was expecting to get it, but D did instead.

Both of us. But him first and *obviously* worse. Me second. When everyone else is on the mend.

Usually me. But LO is a mama's girl and generally allllllll over me when she is sick, and I don't have the heart to try to avoid her germs.

With more contagious stuff usually me first and him second. With colds it's much more random.

Some reason DH usually gets it. I always thought for sure I'd get it, but I guess my immunity is good?!

EVERY time DS gets a cold, DH gets it too. And of course it's the WORST COLD EVER. I luckily seem to have a stronger immune system, knock wood.

Me. Every time. Except for HFM. Neither of us caught that. But usually, I catch whatever she has and I get it 10 times worse, plus an extra infection on top of that. My favorite was when she got a virus and then I got the virus plus a sinus infection, mastitis, and an eye infection.

@hilsy85: Same here!! DH gets every single cold the girls bring home and it always turns into man flu, although he gets so grumpy when I call it that!
Fortunately, I very rarely catch their illnesses, with the exception being a stomach bug DD1 brought home last year. Hoping too many of those don't come through the house as those are my Achilles heel!

My husband, poor guy. He usually gets sick first and has it much harder. DS's first year in day care, they were both on antibiotics several times. This year DD got the flu, and he caught it but I didn't.

DH has a reduced immune system because of his asthma so he usually gets sick.
It's been a weird month and half. I got sick with bronchitis and started to recover after I took antibiotics. Then DD got sick with an ear infection then she got better. Then DH got sick and started to get better than DS got sick with an ear infection. DS is still sick but now DH is sick again. I thought we would all get sick around the same time but it's weird that it's been delayed and has evolved when it reaches the next person.

We both do, and we get it worse than she does. She had back-to-back illnesses all winter and barely even slowed down, but DH and I were both knocked flat and had to use up a bunch of sick days. I don't think LO would have even had to miss any daycare if it hadn't been for the fact that DH was too sick to drive her there a few times.

DH usually does. HFM was the worst! But while I was pregnant with #2 it was me. I got 3 of the colds DD brought home from daycare with the last one turning into bronchitis at 39 weeks preggo. Miserable! Hoping for a healthier summer than spring.

Normally my DH will get it a little bit but not bad. I usually don't except for a 2 month period when she started daycare I had it worse than my husband. I had an ear infection with rupture ear drum, sinus infection at the same time, pink eye that the first eye drops made it worse, and then the stomach flu (which I did not get from my LO but I think my immune system was weakened from all of the above). But since then I haven't gotten sick.

I get sick first and if DH gets it, he gets it later and not as bad. He always downplays colds where as I wind up in bed for a weekend.

Fevers = DH
Stomach bugs and colds = me
But DH is a bigger complainer when he's sick

I tend to catch the stomach bugs, DH tends to catch the colds. That said, he is healthy and going away to Spain next week while I juggle two sick kids alone and I have tonsillitis Not looking forward to that.

We tend to all get the colds, but mine are over quickest. My husband tends to suffer the longest, but he refuses to take any medication to ease his symptoms.
