Bee has one brother, while I have 3 siblings. Our family is just two kids though, so our family size is closer to hers!

We are both from boy/girl families. Even our extended families are fairly even.

I have three siblings and my husband only has one. Our extended families are both really big though!

My DH. I have a pretty small family of only my parents, sisters and a couple of uncles.
DH has a HUGE family. I don't even know all their names!

I have one brother, he has one sister, so our immediate families are even (although his parents are divorced and both remarried so he has double the parents!). My extended family is much bigger though because my mom has 3 siblings and my dad has 2, and all of my aunts/uncles have 3+ kids, and most of my cousins have kids at this point too (I'm one of the youngest). My husband's mom doesn't speak to her family (I've never even met her mother) and my husband never sees his step parents' families, so its really just his dad's family we ever see which makes them feel smaller.

i have one sibling, mr. bird has 2. his parents come from HUGE families though, so he has a much bigger family.

I have 2 sisters who are both married with 2 kids, he has one living borther who is married with 1 kid (and 1 on the way.) So mine is slightly bigger. But his extended family is huge, his mom had 8 siblings and they all live close.

We each have a brother and a sister His dad has two siblings, his mom is an only. My dad has one sibling, my mom has 2. So not too different!

My husband has one sister, his mom, his dad, his step mom, his grandma, 5 aunts and uncles, and 6 cousins.
I have five sisters, mom, step dad, biological dad, 3 grandmas, 3 grandpas, I think about 10-15 aunts and uncles, and too many cousins to count.
If I had it my way we'd have one son who would be the only child, but my husband wants about 2-4 kids. We'll probably have two kids tops, which will bring us to somewhere in between my huge family and his smaller one. We'll probably never be as small as his though. Since I have so many sisters (plus my sister-in-law) there will likely be many cousins around and lots of grandparents!

Mine for sure, no contest.
I have 6 siblings and have 15 nieces and nephews (including stepsiblings and their kids), 11 aunts and uncles and 16 first cousins, many of whom have children now. I also have 3 living grandparents.
D has 2 brothers, 4 nephews, 2 aunts and 1 uncle and no cousins, and his last living grandparent passed away right before Christmas.

I'm an only child and my husband has 2 siblings. His extended family also gets together more than mine does.

My family is bigger. I have two siblings and DH has one. There are a lot more kids on my side, and as far as extended family goes mine is probably 4 times bigger than DH's.

Me! My mom is one of 6 so I have lots of aunts/uncles/cousins and because my parents have kids from previous marriages there are a total of 6 of us kids.

I have 2 brothers and DH has 1. My brothers are both married and one has 3 kids, so my family is way bigger than DH's. My BIL is close to 40 and still lives at home...so yeah.

Mine, just barely. DH comes from a family of 5 kids and I come from a family of 6.

Mine. I have 2 brothers, one of whom is married with a daughter and another kid on the way. DH just has a brother who is single.

DH is an only child, I have one younger brother. DH's extended family is larger, but we see my extended (dad's side) more often because we live near them. We hardly ever see my mom's side (korea)

mine. we both only have one sibling, though mine is married so there's an extra sil and two nieces on my side. plus, my extended family is way bigger. His only aunt and uncle passed away a long time ago and his 2 first cousins are much older and were never close to him, whereas I have 7 first cousins (plus 2 of them are married) and 6 aunts/uncles and they were part of my life to a much greater extent. plus my parents both have cousins that they grew up with who are like siblings.

We both have one sibling, but our extended families are both huge. My mom is one of 3, my dad is one of 9, my MIL is one of 8, and my FIL is one of 8.

DH. He is one of nine. FIL is one of ten.
I thought my family was big, but I was wrong.

I'm the oldest of 3, he's the oldest of 2.
Extended family wise, he wins. mil has 8 brothers and sisters, and one brother had 6 kids (who are all married with kids!).

I am one of two (a twin) and he is one of three (although his closest sibling is 13 years older than him).

We both come from 2 kid families. DH's extended family is much larger, though.

I have 2 brothers and over 20 cousins. DH has 1 half-brother and 4 cousins... I win by a huge margin
pear / 1571 posts
Mine. He is one of 9 and I am one of 10. I have 2 sisters married (another getting married next month) 4 (5 in July) nieces/nephews on my side. On his side, he has 3 married siblings and also 4, almost 5, nieces/nephews. But considering my side is mostly younger than his and my family isn't a huge fan of birth control of any kind, I can nearly guarantee that my side outnumber his by a very large margin in the years to come.
