I always assumed my credit score wasn't that good, due to a single incident involving my traveling a lot and one evil gym who billed me monthly even though I never signed up for a membership. But I was surprised to find out when I got married that I had great credit! But Bee's credit was also good, so I'll call this one a tie.
Who has a higher credit score... you or your SO?

Last time we got it checked at the same time I was SO pissed because I was 799 and my husband was 801. He gloated for weeks.

My husbands is higher.. but he also makes WAY more than I do.. I also own additional property and he does not..

I'm not sure. I've never had any credit card debt, but then Dh has always had credit cards/loans etc. and paid them off so maybe his is higher.

OUrs were about the same years ago and I'm sure they are both falling now as we no longer use debt in any way. It's sad that decreases your score but I guess it doesn't matter since we'll never use it.

Mine is higher, he made some mistakes in the past and forgot about some bills....now I am in charge of most of the finances

Dh does, but we might be tied now.
My dad didnt tell me about medical bills that were piling up when I went to college and he didnt pay them. They all went to collections. This was 6.5 years ago when I found out and paid them all off. (They were all 3 years old at that point.)
I'm still bitter about it.

Mine. I got approved for a David's Bridal card when I bought my dress, which I paid off in six months and left the card open. I have a fair score because if that.
DH has a non-existant credit history.

we're about even but i think DH is a lil higher! when we first met, my score was atrocious! but now it's great! DH has always had amazing credit!

I used to have the higher score but then I was late on a stupid store credit card and it affected my rating. Hoping it has gone up over the past 4 years so when we buy a new house this summer, my score will be great again!

Last time we checked was when we purchased our home. He had a higher credit score. We both have good scores, but because was higher (better) he was extremely boastful. Grrr
