I have a Graco travel system that we use the heck out of but ever since LO was a baby, I kept thinking that when we have a second, I'd get a stroller frame like a snap'n'go for something more lightweight and less bulky.
I'm sure I can manage with what I have now but am wondering how much a difference it would make to have one.
Do YOU have a snap'n'go or an equivalent?

Yes Yes Yes! Love my snap and go. Today was my first outing with the "Real" stroller and missed the simplicity of the snap and go.

I have the snap 'n go to go with our graco snugride 35, and it is sooo worth it. so light, the basket is huge, and it's really easy to open/close. i love ours!

I just didn't think it was that big of a deal. They aren't that expensive though, I got mine for $10 on cl.

Great thread, I was wondering the same thing! We just got a lightweight stroller that can convert to hold an infant seat, so I was debating just using that... I'll definitely be keeping an eye open at the used kid's stores.

We have we borrowed from a friend. Which is great so we could wait to buy the Bob till she is older. It is light weight and easy to fold up which is great for when I am by myself

We used a tiny Graco Mosaic stroller like a stroller frame. SO WORTH IT. Hauling the giant travel system is a PITA. Once she outgrew that, we bought a City Mini, which we will use from the start with the next one.

Yep, the keyfit caddy and we love it! It can go anywhere so easily but still feels sturdy.

@Mrs. High Heels: I thought the Snugride 35 didn't fit into the Snap'n'Go - I've been searching high and low for the Graco model frame! Good to know!

we didn't buy one until we went on vacation with LO and it was SO useful. now we use it any time we go somewhere with her, its just so much easier than putting her and taking her in and out of the carseat and into her stroller.

@Rubies: I bought a baby trend snap n go and the Gracie snug ride snaps in, no belt required.
I have an ubv for the main stroller so I wanted something really lightweight for short trips especially with the car in the beginning. I got it from CL for $30. Prob could have spent less if I was patient since this was the first one I saw and didn't feel like waiting.

This was one of the "recommendations" a very knowledgeable and resourceful friend of mine (and mother of a 8 month old) made to me after reviewing my registry. She recommended the snap n go. I went shopping with her and ended up registering for the B-Nimble instead because DH and I travel often and our B Safe car seat will snap right into the B-Nimble - which is super light and easy to transport. For me it was two birds with one stone...
If not for the travel component I would have done the snap n go for sure! I dont have any practical experience though as LO wont be here for another 3 months

@Rubies: I hated our snap n go. It was so clumsy compared to my stroller that I could snap the carseat into!!!

@Rubies: I have an older Graco Snugride, FYI, and it's the 20-something pound one, not the 35. I don't know if that makes a difference, but I do know mine snaps in and you just pull the red thing on the back to release it. I thought I needed to the Graco one too, and actually THOUGHT that's what I was buying from Craigslist, but when I showed up it was the Baby Trend brand (my fault, misread the ad). However, I tested it right there to make sure and it did snap. I think some other brands, like Chicco, don't snap into it and it's better to get there own brand (I hear really good things about the Chicco keyfit, actually, but won't work with Graco).

@Mrs. High Heels: @Smurfette: Okay, today, I went to BRU to look at it and it says that it fits Graco snugride and snugride 32. The Snugride 35 doesn't fit - there's no "click" when we put it on. Am I missing something? Are Canadians getting a different model?? LOL.

@Rubies: I doubled checked we have the 35 but our frame is a Graco as well. We borrowed it from a friend so not sure exactly the name of it.

@Rubies: fwiw, we had a Maclaren stroller frame that we used with our Keyfit. It didn't snap (you used a belt) but it was still very stable and not a pain at all. But that was before there was one that was Chicco-compatible.

@Rubies: we have the Snugride 35 and the snap n go frame & it snaps in when we use no problem. We got both new around August/September. I wonder if they changed the models???

Ours snaps in perfectly.

Yes! Love my Graco stroller frame. I got it off of Craigslist too for $30. LO is getting so big that it's getting too heavy to lift him and the carseat out of the car and into the frame but I love the convenience so much that I still use it. I wish I could use it forever.
