I have no idea because we don't have any plans yet. Maybe my MIL will invite us over the morning of...she is really last minute about holiday meals!
I'll have a backup Costco rotisserie chicken and some sides if we just stay at home!

Me! I have it all planned out so I can maximize the use of the oven, crockpot, stove top and outdoor grill!

Ours is potluck style. His uncle does the turkeys (fries them outside) and we all get assigned a category and then we bring it! Done and done. I usually do a vegetable dish and a dessert

My MIL...even though we're bringing the turkey. But, we're cheating and ordering one cooked from a restaurant, lol.

My MIL. I got uninvited to my parents dinner, but my mom does the majority of that one

It splits between three of us: D's aunt, who hosts, my MIL, and myself. Aunt does the turkey and two sides and MIL and I split the rest.

My mom and my uncle (they live next door to each other) cook together each year and they rotate which house we eat at. This year, we are going to my uncle's house.

@looch: ooh what are you doing on the grill?? That's the one piece I'm not using yet!
I'm doing the cooking since my parents will be driving all morning to get to our house. My SIL is making some sides and a pie, hopefully.

We're having two Thanksgivings since my husband's parents are divorced and we do Thanksgiving with them. His grandma (dad's mom) does all the cooking on that side; that's a smaller Thanksgiving and earlier in the day. Then we have the HUGE Thanksgiving with his mom's side; his mom is hosting it this year and making the turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing, and cranberry sauce. The rest is potluck. I'm having a difficult third trimester so I'm not sure how much I'm going to be able to help, but we'll be down there Tuesday night so I'll do as much as I can! I'll probably help make an apple pie (I'm known in his family for making amazing pies).

I don't know where we are going to be yet....Why won't my DH call his Dad???

H and I will probably cook it together. I've done all the meal planning though, because I'm excited to not have to work for the first time in three years
@Andrea: we've gone out for thanksgiving the past few years and I loved it! Some people I know thought it was weird but hello? No clean up!

@cmomma17: oh no! what happened, if you don't mind my asking?
MIL is hosting this year (we hosted the last two years... being elbow deep in a turkey while pregnant was NOT fun). I'm in charge of sweet potatoes/yam casserole and dessert.

We always have two big Thanksgiving dinners, one on Thursday with my parents - my stepdad is a chef, so my mom always starts everything and he ends up stepping in to take over at the end - and another on Friday or Saturday with my husband's family - my MIL likes to do everything from a box, so I usually step in to make real mashed potatoes and my FIL is in charge of the turkey.
I've never made a turkey! I need to get on that...

My parents and myself. We are splitting up prep duties and eventhough some dishes will have a main person cooking them we will all take turns stirring, basting and testing them.

I'll be doing most of the cooking. We host and both sets of parents.
My mom brines the turkey and we roast it at my place. My mom does almost all of the clean up afterward with my husband...love it!
My brother brings rolls and pie
My inlaws bring green bean casserole
My SIL brings a fall salad
I make everything else - mashed potatoes, sweet potato casserole, corn casserole, stuffing

Me!
We're staying home this year (and did so last year when LO was 2 weeks old). So it will be our favorite versions of all the dishes we love. Roast turkey, mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes au gratin, green bean casserole, parker house rolls, cranberry sauce, mushroom dressing, pumpkin pie and cheesecake brownies!
