It's funny: it's pretty rare for two really stubborn people to be in a relationship... at some point, one person usually has to compromise.
Who is more stubborn, you or your SO? How do you guys usually settle your differences?

I am by far. My husband hates fighting and confrontation so he usually lets me have my way.

I am way more stubborn! DH usually gives in, but we compromise a lot too, its just usually more to my side

That is a tough one, we both can be very stubborn, but I'd say that my husband wins this one- see I am conceding to this one too. All I can say is that we are in BIG trouble with our boy's genetics.

Definitely me. I'm an irish girl thru-and thru and my pride gets the best of me. DH won't let me get away with it though so I'm trying to get better : )

We each take turns compromising, once we start fighting just to fight. It can get pretty ridiculous at times, but we are getting better! We just haev to stop, take a step back, and breathe!

I guess that would be me. He can be stubborn too but I put up more of a fight!

I'm way more stubborn. He usually just gives in.

I'm definitely the stubborn one. The hubs is laid back so often he's indifferent about stuff and I usually get my way. But when the hubs feels strongly about something (like the name of our LO, for instance) it's such a rarity that I give in.

I think the DH is. Once his mind is made up, he really doesn't ever want to budge even if a better idea comes along.

@Rubies: Yup, I agree with this. I almost always get my way because DH is laid back, but when he feels strongly, he REALLY feels strongly!

I don't think either one of us are very stubborn.. :T I always get what I want and DH always gets what he wants too.

Yeesh, we're one of those rare couples I suppose, because we're both stubborn as mules, lol! He's of Irish descent, and I'm a second generation Cuban, so our tempers do NOT mix well. And it shows in our poor LO-he's as hard-headed as the both of us! SO is a Cancer, I'm a Sagittarius, our youngest is a Virgo, and our oldest is a Taurus. Good times.
As for who compromises, it usually depends on the situation, but overall I'd say it's 50/50. -
I'm more stubborn in general. DH is so laid back. I would really prefer to be like him and let more things just roll off like he does, but I guess I'm just not programmed that way

We're both pretty stubborn but usually on different things. If there is a situation where we're both being stubborn I usually end up giving in.

@Mrs.KMM: Me too! Didn't think of it as a Taurus trait, but totally right!
I definitely tend to get my way, haha. I like things "just so".

We are both very stubborn! We normally both bend a little though to settle our differences, but we really don't have many differences! DH is more relaxed in certain aspects though, so that helps balance us out (like decorating, etc)
