We sat right next to Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson during a play. I also sat across from Meryl Streep on the subway. Those are my two biggest!
What about you?

Rihanna and Nicole Kidman (separately).
Michelle Kwan was my favorite though! She took me and a few other girls from my sorority out to sushi.

@Mrs Green Grass: that's SO cool about Michelle Kwan! Was she in your sorority?
Can you believe I lived in NYC till I was 18 and never ran into a celebrity?!

Mackelmore used to live a street or two over from a friend in high school. We didn't go to his school, but we went to some of the same parties and he used to drive us home on occasion. But he wasn't famous yet!

Oh, we walked by Don Cheadle while in Boston. But I didn't even know till we were already a block away.

David Duchovny (celeb/college event), Essence Atkins (church), Tia & Tamara Mowry (had a class with them in college), Pam Anderson, Stevie Wonder (airport), Brandon Boyd (grocery store run in), Danny DeVito, Renee Russo in Vegas, Rob Schneider, Adam Sandler, Bebo Norman, Brandy, Vin Diesel, Joshua Jackson!
I think they're mostly low A-Listers right?
And one of my childhood friends is now a celebrity! Steven Yeun

Bill Clinton. Saw him twice on Martha's Vineyard. Didn't exactly run into him, since he was surrounded by secret service. Once was at the county fair and the other time we watched him eat ice cream ( from across the street)

I live in Michigan, so nothing too exciting...I once sold some video games to Hayden Christensen. It was shortly after he played Anakin, so it was more exciting then than it would be now, haha!
I was much more excited about the time I ended up sitting in front of the lead singer of Boys Like Girls on a plane. But they are definitely not as famous.

Ben Affleck was shooting The Town right downstairs from our apartment. And I went to school with John Krasinski and BJ Novak, before they were famous though.

I actually sat down and had a conversation with America Ferrara. I was babysitting for the children of a couple she was going out to dinner with. She seemed really nice this was when Ugly Betty was at its biggest.
I've passed random celebs when I lived in NYC but never made eye contact or anything- mike Meyers, the guy from scrubs and clueless (Donald faison, maybe?).
And David Bowie and Iman lived around the corner from me. We used to see their daughter with the nanny all the time and saw each of them several times. I even made eye contact with David Bowie once- he was hailing a cab but I thought someone was trying to get my attention. We had a moment.

Vince Vaughn (actually hung out with him).

I sat next to Paul Rudd at a Magnetic Fields concert. And Alicia Keys' mom called me a "cute bitch."
I met Jeff Koons and Cindy Sherman through my job - they're mega art-stars but most people wouldn't know/recognize them!

Nobody I would want to run into! Micheal Lohan and Maksim Chmerkovskiy and when we were in NYC our taxi driver almost hit the famous cake lady, Sylvia Weinstock, does that count ? lol

I saw Arnold Swartzenegar (sp?) at the Arnold Classic in Columbus, Renee Zelweiger and George Clooney when they were promoting their movie Leatherheads, and most recently Prince Charles when he attended an event held at my office.

I live in LA so celeb sighting are common and have sort of lost their wow factor. It's pretty much guaranteed that I'll run into someone on my Trader Joes or Whole Foods run. Don't know about the most famous but the last few have been: Elizabeth Banks (twice) Sean Penn with Charlize Theron, Kanye, Ashton Kutcher and Marla Sokoloff.

@Mrs Green Grass: Michelle Kwan is in my mom's yoga class.
The biggest is probably Bruce Willis. A friend of mine used to work for him.
My favourite was Gabriel Macht yesterday. I love Harvey Specter.

On our Senior class trip in High School to Disney World, we randomly ran into Britney Spears and her bodyguard! She was appearing on the Today Show and was just an up and coming artist. She was pretty sweet and took a lot of pictures with us and signed autographs.

I spoke to George Bush at a sporting event I was working at in Houston a couple years ago. He told me he had been watching me and that I was beautiful. His wife, son, and grandson were standing close enough to hear him!

Claire Danes sitting on her suitcase outside of a Cosi, john slattery, pierce brosnan lunching with his mom, mike myers, jimmy fallon, bill & Hilary at a cirque du soleil show, tom brokaw and we chatted about my pregnancy.

Oh, I was also in a goofy music video with Lando (Billy Dee Williams) from Star Wars. When I lived in LA and was pursuing music a bit, I got a few nifty opportunities!

I've seen a lot since I used to work in Soho. Probably most famous is Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes.
Have also seen Heath Ledger (a couple months before he passed), Ryan Gosling (we made some serious eye contact!), Sarah Jessica Parker...many more but that's all I can think of off the top of my head.
I've also seen SO many at sporting events (we usually get amazing seats because of my husband's work) but kinda don't count those because it wasn't totally unexpected (if that makes sense).

I ran into (physically collided with) Matthew Perry once. DH and I talked to Jay Leno for a while. He made fun of us (nicely).
