Mrs. Bee and I both went to the same general tier of colleges, and we both started our own companies. So I'd say that we look generally the same on paper... although Bee has gotten a lot of press and awards, so she has that on me!

He has a BS in mathematics, a masters in education and has been teaching at the college level for about two years.

Well we both have our masters. DH has a lot more work experience, but I've been a SAHM. I guess it depends who you're asking.

Since DH is already working in his field, and I'm in the midst of a career change, I'd say he does. He's accomplished a lot for his age!

I'd say we are equal. We went to same tier undergrads. I have a law degree, and he's in the process of getting another degree. So I guess until he gets his degree, I have a *slight* edge

DH and I have the same degree from the same school and the same number of years experience from the same company!
I think the biggest difference in our education is that he is currently working on a masters and I am not.
We do work in a male dominated field though so I think that sometimes gives me an edge when applying for jobs.

I don't know. DH went to a better tiered school for undergrad, but we both have master's degrees. He's been a teacher since he graduated, is a mentor teacher, head of the English Dept., and started a non-profit with some teacher friends that does teacher training.
I've been working in my field since college for some pretty well-known institutions in NYC going up in title with each move, was an editor/writer for a literary blog, have had my poetry published in literary journals, have been mentoring teen girls for 4 years.

Me! I have a bachelors and masters, DH just has a bachelors. Although DH and I are in totally different fields, I also have my principal certification...just to give me an edge on my credentials.

him. he has a bachelors degree and is currently working on his masters. im have an associates and working on my Bachlors. i have mroe work expierence though (some upper management stuff)

Definitely DH. We both have a law degree and went to about the same tier law schools, but he graduated first in his class and has a much better job than I do!

DH. We went to the same school, but his degree is much more valuable and he's had a pretty steady career path and makes way more than I do. I bounced around figuring out what to do with myself for a while. He also has some certifications that are impressive. Fine with me, since I'll be a SAHM for a few years then plan to make a career change (to what remains to be seen).

I do, haha. I make more, have more work experience and I have a master's from a top rated engineering school. DH does have a bachelor's from a better school than my BA is from, but he only has a grad certificate and the school isn't as good as mine.

Around the same I'd say. But maybe me because I have more work experience. He's only been with one company for over 10 years whereas I've held various positions are different companies.

We're pretty even. I have a BA and a Master's, for which I had a fellowship; I also have several years of international work experience and then served with Americorps for two years in a fairly prestigious program.
DH has two bachelor's degrees, his second of which he received first class honours (the Australian equivalent of summa cum laude). He was one of 18 people selected (out of 2500 applicants) for a graduate program with a top tier engineering company and is now working on a $40 billion mega project.
Very different but I'd say we both look pretty good on paper.

In terms of education, definitely me. My undergrad is from a top ranked university, and I am finishing my masters degree from a top ranked program as well. DH has the equivalent of a HS diploma (he grew up overseas).
But in his chosen profession he is very talented, and had a lot of success in his home country, while I am still trying to figure out what to do once I graduate!

Probably me. I have a Masters and have been working in my field for 8 years. We make the same amount of money. Hubs has been working in his current field for about 12 years, but it's not the field that his degree is in (not even close - his degree is kinesiology, he works in civil design!). So I don't know, I guess I have a slight edge, just because of my education level?

Tough one. We went to the same college and have similar degrees. We have jobs in totally different fields now but equal levels of success. Hubs probably has the edge on the cool factor since he's a former pro athlete.

Pretty much the same. We both have bachelors in Engineering, got our masters together, work at the same place, make about the same. We even have a credit score within 15 pts of each other.

DH - BScEng, has 3 years experience working for a defence contractor. Should shortly receive some of the credentials he needs to get his PEng.
Me - BScN, have 6 years experience working in NICU. Working towards being an IBCLC.

Me, definitely. I have my Master's and I was very active in a professional organization, including holding officer positions. Hubs has his Bachelor's, but that's it.

DH I think. I have a Bcomm and he has a BEng. But he has an amazzzzing job making about 3 times as much as I do, and he is super smart.
We were both on the deans list though. So up until graduation I'd say we looked the same on paper.

DH for sure. Even though I'm the one with the degree, he's had the jobs. He's a programmer at Weta at the moment - the visual fx company that did LOTR etc.
The last job I had was part time at a call centre for IRD (our IRS) while I was at college 09 - 11 ;D

Interesting question.... I'm pretty sure he does. He makes the big bucks too.
I have a BA in Psychology and a B.Ed in General Elementary Education. Currently working part time in an after school care center, waiting to see if I get pregnant or get on the Sub list.
He has a BA in History (with a minor in Russian Language). He's the Internal Technical Support Manager for a Medical Software Company. He's taken a lot of training courses over the years.

I think we're pretty on par?
We both have our bachelors, I'm working on my dual mba/msf and DH already has his masters. He's worked a few years longer than me and makes a bit more than I do, but both of us are pretty ahead in our careers "agewise".... so grateful.

Technically I look better on paper, as I have a Masters and a much longer work history. My husband started college but never finished; however, he totally supports us financially and is very smart and a very hard worker.
