Well, hubs and I have the exact same groups of friends so...It's equal? We have lots of couple friends but no couple friends with kids.

We don't have too many couple friends.. met one though church, the other through DH, and one through me!
So we're even

I would say me. We moved away from home so all of our couple friends here are friends we made as adults. I just happen to be more outgoing where as hubs is kind of shy around new people so in most cases the couple relationship was initiated by me.

Definitely me. SO is very particular about his friends and only has one guy friend/couple that he really keeps in touch with. The rest are acquaintances. I have 5 couples I can invite to a dinner party but I really only hang out with 2 of them.

I would say we are split even, we have 2 really close couple friends (DH best friend and his wife and my best friend and her husband) that we hang out with the most. We have others as well, and it is all previous friends of mine or his, and we only hang out all together.

split down the middle... we haven't made new couple friends, but our friends (both his and mine) have become couples in the span of the last few years

@looch: He just doesn't want to know about people's personal lives? Haha, I dunno. What does your DH say? In a way, it's OK that he doesn't socialize because he works such long hours anyway. If he were also a social butterfly, then I would never see him so I think it works out for me, at least!

@looch: They sound exactly the same. I don't get it either!

I have more! Because the couple that DH knows they are actually my friends too (we all worked together and it's where they met and DH and I met)
