@anonysquire: wow:) I hope me and DH can do that too! (My biological parents got divorced but my mom's 2nd marriage is awesome so I lucked out and got to grow up around love too).

DH said it first after about a month, but i said it back immediately because i had figured i was about a week earlier

I said it first! I remember, we were both sitting on my couch and I was just like staring at him (with my goog-ly eyes ) and he's just like what? I'm I said "I have something to tell you" "Well, tell me then" "I think I love you!" "Well that's good cause I love you too!"

Hubs said it first, about 4 months after we started dating "for real." We met Labor Day 2004 and hooked up for about 6 months until I finally asked for a commitment that he wouldn't give me. So I broke it off. The following Labor Day (2005) he told me that he wanted to be with me and was ready to commit, so we started dating. He told me he loved me New Year's Eve, 05/06.

LOL DH def said it first....my previosu relationship was a really bad one and my ex was abusive...it took me a long time to let someone "in" again.
