My Dad used to tuck me in when he was home. He was great at it.

My mom. She'd lay in bed with me & sing me lullabies until I fell asleep. I remember overhearing my dad tell her we were too old for it (I must have been around 8? or so). Eventually I stopped asking.
ETA: if my brother was home (rare) he tucked me in.

My mom did! We had this whole routine with rockabye baby and then she would fluff the covers over my head, and I would giggle like crazy because it tickled. I cannot wait to pass that down to my daughter for bedtime.

My parents divorced when I was 6 so they both did. My dad always made it fun, like tucking me so tight i had to wiggle free, but my mom always was gentle and made me feel calm and warm. I was so heartbroken when she stopped tucking me in cold turkey.
