@winniebee: You're reading my thoughts , mama. I hate to pray for a baby who is very different from my wonderful daughter but... another colic monster might put me right over the edge

#2 is still young, but he seems slightly more fickle so far. I guess only time will tell!

Mine have gotten progressively easier, so #2 was better than #1 and #3 has been the easiest so far!

Thus far, #2 is way more chill! I hope this continues to be true. But #1 was pretty horrific till about 1

#1 for most things, she was less fussy, spit up way, WAY, less and was generally content. Her night time sleep was also much better. #2 is easier for going down for naps and is generally more smiley than my daughter was.

I'm so scared for this and I'm not even pregnant. Ds is a super super good baby. I hope future babies aren't harder!

11 weeks in and # 2 100%! (#1 wasn't even bad but #2 is SUCH an easy baby!)

6 months in and so far #2. Not that #1 was super hard - he just doesn't like sleep.

I thought #1 was easy, and in a lot of ways she was. However, #2 is a dream baby. We're only 10 weeks in, but I can already tell she's got a different temperament.

I love all these #2s! C is a pretty easy toddler but she wasn't easy for the first several months!

Hmm, toss up between #1 and #3, but if I had to choose, probably #1. It helps that I didn't have to juggle as much with 1 child, but she was definitely a good eater and sleeper from the start!
It was definitely not #2, lol

2, for sure. Now if she would just figure out the whole sleep thing....

Hmmm hard to say. I think they were easy/hard in different ways so I would say it is pretty even. My girls are super active and stubborn so that makes it challenging. But they both eat and sleep well so that has been pretty easy.

They were easy in their own ways. #1 was always content, ate like a pig but sleep wasn't that great until we sleep trained. #2 slept a ton and is quite independent but doesn't eat as well and won't let people hold her.

#2, he learned to self soothe so much quicker than #1. But I also think I am just used to the whole mom thing and think it's easier the 2nd time around.

ahhhh. #1 was easy, so i feel totally screwed with #2 We shall see!

Hmm, I've been blessed with 2 pretty easy babies. I think having to pick, I'd say 2, as breastfeeding was a little easier. However #2 likes to constantly be held which is hard sometimes. That could be in part that whenever we put her down her sister wants to hug her and kiss her and pick her up hahs.

Both in a temperament kind of way. They have both been great sleepers though. After having my first I thought... WOW, this kid is tough. I didn't know the meaning of "tough" until I had my second who dropped down anywhere on the floor (literally anywhere, even bathroom floors) to tantrum for 20 minutes when he didn't get what he wanted. And 10+ times a day from infancy (threw himself back to the ground) to about 24 months or so. He still has his moments and is much, much better but he still has his moments. And lucky me my oldest became really tough between 3 to almost 5 years of age. So they were both tough at the same time for almost two years. I guess what I'm trying to say that it just really depends. But one thing I've learned is that it does get better with age and after you figure out what works for each of them.

#1 was maybe easier. #2 is just a little more tender. She realizes her needs and then they must be met immediately. Feed me NOW! overall she's very easy, just hangry.
They both eat and sleep well, so we've been lucky.

#1 by far! #2 is my little firecracker, and as a newborn we had to deal with reflux, which was a nightmare. Now at 2 years- I stand by her being most difficult. She's just very opinionated and sassy where my son was laid back and very go with the flow.

#1 was so much more laid back and less clingy. I'm hoping #2 is a better toddler *fingers crossed*

#2... And I used to think it was because I had learned so much, but #3 is harder than #2... So part learning and part temperament.
