Bee and I actually haven't played a lot of board games! I think I would care more, but she would somehow beat me and then I'd pretend not to care. But I would. Especially if it was Risk!!
Who wins when you play board games like Monopoly or Risk: you or your SO?

DH wins at Monopoly, mostly because I hate it and don't care to prolong the game ;-). For risk and other strategy games it is 50/50. Scrabble is also him every time, I am terrible at it.

I'm horrible with strategy games so he almost always wins because he's 4 steps ahead. I win at Scrabble about 3/4 of the time, though.

Lately I have been kicking some serious butt at Apples to Apples or, our personal favorite, Cards Against Humanity (Just like Apples to Apples but VERY adult and just plain... raunchy/wrong on so many perfect levels)

grrr. I think I can only beat him in spit (but who really plays that these days!) and fruit ninja, both of which are not board games haha.

He does. We play Stratego a lot and I have yet to win a single game! Ugh. I try so hard too, we are both really competitive. Every time we play I think it will be the time I finally win, but then I don't, and I get really upset!
In non-strategy board games, it is kind of a toss-up. We play Yahtzee a lot too and I usually kick his butt at that, but it doesn't really "count" since it's pure luck.

I was begged to play Risk - which I never wanted to play anyway! Then I played and won, and was never asked again to play... I'm not complaining! But I'm also super competitive. My dad has always been insanely good at strategy games, and I've inherited that competitiveness, which DH just things is really weird

Haven't played Risk, but last time DH and I played Monoploy he won...because he cheated...he refused to pay rent!

I do. He gets impatient when the games take a long time and then he mentally gives up and starts making mistakes.

We've never played Monopoly together but risk is a toss up, we usually play with more than just us two but we're both about equally likely to win.

Ugh, DH at all of them. He's so freaking patient and good at strategizing (is that a word? :p) Scrabble especially, he kicks my butt hardcore.

I don't like monopoly so I don't really try too hard. I can win at Risk if I have the patience to keep playing. Most other board games (especially scrabble), I dominate!
