I am! Best gift ever- dh took off work and we are going to a big band concert (as in brass band) at the gardens with lo!

No because it's always carting around celebration all the other mothers in our life. I'm happy to celebrate them, but my ideal mothers day wouldn't involve driving everywhere and spending money on gifts. I'm a scrounge, but I want to just enjoy my daughter on mothers day!

We're going to a friend's BBQ thing on Sunday. We're "celebrating" on Saturday, though...getting my hair cut and a pedicure, then meeting my boys for lunch at our favorite local brewery!

I'm feeling a mix of excitement and anxiousness.... Excitement that it might be my first Mother's day with a LO! Anxiousness that LO won't arrive by Sunday and I'll be super disappointed.

I'm not. I'm super grumpy about it. DH's niece's stupid church scheduled her first communion for Mother's Day...wtf? Every time I think about it it makes me angry. So DH has to go to church (he takes his mum every Sunday because she has Alzheimer's and can't go alone), so I have to stay home alone and watch DD. I really wanted to have a nice family breakfast and then do things together but....no.....ugh!!!

I forgot Sunday was Mother's Day. So I guess the answer to that is no!

We're celebrating tomorrow because DH works Sunday. So I'm getting my breakfast in bed, and then going for a pedicure with my mama. Pretty excited.

Me! I get to sleep in, spend the morning with DH and R, and then go spend the afternoon with family, including my Mom and grandma.
