I'm super bad cop and DH is super good cop.
LO is such a daddy's girl so my mom just tells me I have to suck it up and just be the mean one. SIGH.

I have an inkling I will be bad cop! Daddy is a sap.

LO isn't here yet but we both already know I am going to end up as the bad cop and he will be the good cop, simply based on our personalities. He also admits that since we are having a girl, he will be "powerless against her"... yeah... not happy about that outlook. We shall see!

DH is bad cop. I wouldn't say I'm good but sometimes DH can act like a drill Sargent and I have to remind him, DS is ONLY 3.

I'm definitely the bad cop. LO asks me for permission for pretty much everything. DH will say, "Oh but mommy said no." He definitely turns out to be the good cop compared to me. I don't mind so much because we can't both be good cops (can we?).

@Rubies: that's not fair! I think both parents should be equally tuff!?

We switch off. But DH is mainly the bad cop. My son knows how to work the system though. He goes crying to the "good cop" all the time when "bad cop" disciplines him.

@mrbee: Riiight? Tell that to my husband! He turns to mush at anything LO does.
