I took the afternoon off so I can get home and get all our bags ready. That way DH just has to pick up the kids, come home and we'll just hit the road!

Me! I was hoping to leave early but my manager just scheduled an hour long meeting this afternoon at 2pm. Who does that?! I was hoping to run a couple quick errands then finish packing so we can hit the road when DH comes home!

We don't fly out until tomorrow, but I still took yesterday and today off. Because I have PTO left and being home is better than being at work

me! hopefully the boss lets us out early, but who knows. I have a house full of in laws and a toddler so I can actually get my cooking schedule written out in peace at the office!
