If we're talking immediate family only, it's probably my family. If you expand it to extended family, then that may change things up a bit.
Whose family is more drama-rama?

Whose family is more drama-rama?

@californiadreams: Sorry to hear!
Hope you're avoiding drama this holiday season!!

DH's. Without a doubt. His mother needs drama the way most living creatures need water.

My family is drama free. DH's is crazy town, USA. It's a good thing we only have one that's drama-filled. That's all we can handle!

@mrbee: it;s ok. i grew up with it and is one of the reasons i am happy living in a different province and i limit my trips home. holidays are stressful but still fun for the most part.

@californiadreams: Ah that's great!! Family drama is a great reason to move away from home... you never realize how much drama affects your life, until you move away and realize how different everything suddenly feels!

I thought my family was pretty good... Until I married into my DH's family! His family is pretty much drama-free and mine has been super crazy pants lately. Ugh.

DH's makes drama out of no where. Mine...has a few bad apples so there's drama there too.

Mine. My brothers are young and stress my mom out.

If we're talking immediate family and people having personal drama-- definitely my husband's family(sister). If we're talking extended family getting themselves into trouble-- mine (cousins). But my family tends to pull us into drama a bit more because we just talk to them more than we talk to my DH's family.

I guess mine? Neither one of our families really have much drama, though!

DH's for sure. His mom loves her some dramz!
In my family, about the biggest ruckus we have is when DH and my grandpa trash talk each other while they play tennis lol

Immediate family would be mine, but that's because there are 4 siblings and one single ma who is really involved, whereas DH is an only and his folks' drama is easily ignored by him/us. If we add in the extended fam (frequently seen aunts, uncles, and cousins) then DH quickly pulls into the lead, but only because I've cut out the nutballs on my side, so I don't know of their drama.
Aaahh, family is fun. At the office we always joke that work picks up around the holidays because people have to spend time with their families and either fight or drink too much to cope.

Lucky for us we have to go out to extended family to find the nutter butters and trouble makers. Most of which we don't interact with very often, which is for the best.

My side is pretty much drama free. They are good with money, live within their means, and keep their promises. That's all I want to say.

DH's side for sure. My side never has any drama. His side has enough for both of us.

MINE MINE MINE! We are a hot mess. Love able but messy. My husbands family is almost astoundingly perfect.

Definitely mine, although we have been a little better lately. Having kids is a game changer and allows us to relate to one another.

DH's for sure is drama central.the good news is we can laugh about. But they could have their own bravo tv show

My ILs are a million times more dramatic than my family. I had no idea families could have as much drama as they do- I once went on the jerry springer show recruiting website where they had phone numbers to call for each topic- I had something insane like 8 topics that I could participate in all stemming from DH & his fam (I have no desire to go on jerry springer).

Mine by a landslide. I can't think of a single dramatic event with DH's family in the 5+ years we've been together. They are the most emotionally sound people I have ever known. In mine, the drama is constant!

Immediate family? His. Neither has a ton of drama, but his mom can be passive aggressive when people don't do things her way.
Extended family? Mine by a freaking landslide. *Warning - trigger ahead* I have an aunt who one week will be calling her daughter (who is one of my best friends) a c*** and a b**** and accuse her fiance of being a child molester (both of which are completely ridiculous accusations), then the next week will be carrying on about how much she loves them and they're the best thing in her life, then the next week they're going to hell and a failure as a daughter for not getting married in a church...it's exhausting. Fingers crossed that she doesn't get into it with anyone on Christmas (last year she started screaming at them - while she was living in their home with her other daughter, and they supported both of them because she quit her job to move out of state with some guy she'd been dating for a few months, and was back less than a month later totally broke.)

My mom is incredibly dramatic and we have to walk on eggshells around her...but overall is definitely his family!!
He's got cousins that steal (and legit have kids with strippers ), a SIL that always needs attention, and a sister who acts like its her job to be drama queen. There's always a story! Makes me glad we live 300 miles away!

In terms of immediate family, his. So many women! But in terms of extended family definitely mine. How many times have I been told that my family story would make a great Korean drama?!
