Ever since we potty trained T, he went from STTN (and waking only rarely in the event of illness) to waking every night. Mostly to pee.... We still have him in a diaper because I didn't expect him to night train so soon (6 weeks) but he wakes up dry most days. He just turned 3.
When does this phase end? We have a night-waking 6 month old and this is ridiculous!

We had the same issue right after potty training! We cut back on water in the evening, and that helped a lot...

same here, it she woke up every night to pee for a couple of months. Now it's maybe once every 2 weeks that she will wake up

We severely limit evening drinking and she uses the bathroom right before bed. She rarely wakes at night. And even in the morning when we wake her for school she's not in a hurry to get to the bathroom. She will typically go 10-11 hours at night without using the bathroom.

@winniebee: we went through the same thing when she was 2.5 and it was awful bc I was pregnant and exhausted and wouldn't be able to fall back asleep after taking her to the bathroom in the middle of the night.
Like others said we limited her water intake - we explained that she could drink as much as she wanted downstairs after dinner but once we went upstairs for bath that she couldn't have any more water. So she'd go potty before bath the do bedtime stories and would go potty once more before lights out. It was a few months and she stopped waking to use the bathroom and would just stay dry all night.

Does he need you to take him to the bathroom...could you up a potty in his room for nighttime use?

@looch: I've toyed with just putting the bjorn potty in his room at night...he does need us to use the big toilet upstairs.

We did exactly what @sandy: did. I also have to make sure I remember to keep offering her water before going upstairs.

My son has to have water right before bed also so we switched to a very small cup and said this was the most water he could have. Maybe that could be a good way to transition to less water or no water right before bedtime?
