Very glad I saw this yesterday as I had to use it this morning on my angry 20 month old. It was nice to not to get poop anywhere near his head.

I had no idea! I always thought it was so baby's head would fit through easier when putting it on on or taking it off.
I haven't had a blowout yet, but if I do now I'll be better equipt to handle it!

I actually did do this, but it didn't occur to me that the shoulders were made like that for this reason. Lol. Yay for no poop on my babies heads though!

Amazing! Wish I'd known thus two kids ago! My youngest is 6 months and the queen of diaper blowouts, so I'll definitely put this trick to good use!

OMG I just saw this on FB yesterday and really wished I knew this when my boys were younger! I've posted to my page and a few friends have gotten good use of the tip. So I'm happy again!
