LO woke up about 20-30 minutes ago and hasn't fallen back to sleep. I tried to rock her and rub her back (which usually works), but it just seemed to piss her off even more. Maybe it's her teeth? She seems to be winding down, but just when I think she's falling asleep, she ramps up again. Not sure what to do...

Ugh, so sorry you are going through this! My 15 month old has been fighting sleep and done almost the exact same thing you described occasionally for the past couple weeks. For her it is mostly her molars coming in. If you don't think it is teeth, maybe let her be awake and play/wander about in the dark for a bit? Sometimes my LO will calm down if I just let her be awake instead of trying to get her back to sleep.

Sounds like teeth to me. We are goung through that with molars and incisors righ now Poor little sweetie. I hope she gets to Bed soon.

We had a reallllyyy rough time with sleep around 15 months. waking up in the MOTN for hours, waking early, etc. I think a few things were at play- she was working on her canines and molars, she was getting over various sicknesses, and there is also a wonder week around 15 months as well, which have always affected LO. It looks like things are finally calming down now at 16 months, and she's STTN the past 3 nights. knock on wood.

We had that happen a couple of nights last week with our 15 month old...I think it's teeth (molars) coming in - her gums are really swollen, but they're taking their sweet time! Hope you got some sleep last night - or a big coffee this morning

My 12 month old did this last night too...:( we read stories and then cuddled in the rocking chair until he finally fell asleep. I can count on one hand the number of times he has let me rock him to sleep. Poor little babies.

I ended up getting her up... I took her downstairs, gave her tylenol, read a story, then (caved big time!) and gave her a small bottle. Thankfully she slept after that. She has been getting molars in, so you are probably right and that's what it is. The bottom 2 are almost all the way in, but the top ones are just coming in and look pretty angry.
She has been waking up several times per night the past few weeks, but usually she's able to get back to sleep herself or with me rubbing her back...
She had to go for a blood draw this morning (for an allergy test) this morning... poor baby! She did okay though after the inital stick!
