Will you be going on any trips for the 4th of July?
We will be taking a 2 hour drive to my brothers cottage for the weekend, so not too far away! I'm still kind of dreading the drive though, my kids aren't the best travelers.

Not sure yet. Depends on what happens with the house. We may go to my parents but we may stay home and take advantage of the 4 day weekend.

We'll be driving about 3.5 hours to visit my family. DS (almost 3yo) who was a great traveler is starting to get a bit antsy sitting in his car seat on car rides longer than 2 hours so we have to bust out the movies at that point. DD (3 months) has been doing okay as long as we're moving. The moment we stop at a stoplight or sit in traffic, lord have mercy, she screams her bloody head off like we're hurting her or something.

Yep, we are flying to DH's parent's cabin -- looking forward to it! We are travelling at off times (Sat-Weds) so hoping it's not too crazy.

We usually stay local. Last year we went to Philly to check out the natural history museum and happened to stumble upon some 4th of July festivities. It was pretty neat. Philly is only 45 minutes away so not real travel.

we are traveling Fri-Sunday and coming home that evening - trying to beat the traffic on the 4th!

No. We'll be out of town the following weekend for BIL's wedding so we are sticking close to home and relaxing for the 4th.
